LGBTQ+ Lives – A Discussion on Seeking Sanctuary in Ireland

To mark World Refugee Day, and to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Marriage Equality referendum and the Gender Recognition Act, the University of Sanctuary Programme and the LGBTQ+ Staff Network invite you to a panel discussion on recent developments in Europe and the US regarding trans rights, and the implications for those seeking International Protection in Ireland.

Chaired by the Vice-President EDI, Dr Helen Maher, the panel will bring together voices from across advocacy, research, legal practice, and lived experience. All are welcome.
