Refugee Week Business Start-Up Information Session – Longford LAIT

As part of Refugee Week 2025, the Longford LAIT (Local Authority Integration Team) will host an Introduction to Start Your Own Business information session for members of the refugee and migrant community. The event will take place on Monday, 16 June 2025, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the LCRL Buildings, Templemichael, Longford (N39 RH22).

Delivered by Terry Harmer from NLC Training, the session will provide a practical introduction to self-employment in Ireland.

Topics will include assessing the viability of a business idea, understanding costs and pricing, identifying a target market, and the basic steps to setting up a business.

Tea and coffee will be served during the break. The event is free and open to individuals interested in exploring entrepreneurship as a viable pathway.
